Attendance
Classes are live. Come to them. If a week goes sideways, watch the recording, and the record will say honestly that you watched a recording rather than attended. Tell your instructor ahead of time when you can.
Preparation
Do the reading. Bring the book, your notes, and a question. For whole-book seminars, everyone is on the same page in the same week, and a student who has not read cannot take part.
Honest argument
Say what you think and why. Listen to the reply. Change your mind when the argument is better than yours, and say so. Represent what the author and your classmates actually said. Your own work is your own; help from a parent, a tutor, or a program is fine to ask for and must be acknowledged when asked.
Conduct toward classmates
Disagree with ideas, never mock people. No slurs, no threats, no sexual content, nothing you would not say with your guardians in the room, because they can read all of it.
