Our target
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site and the signed-in product, and for live classes to be usable with a screen reader, keyboard alone, and captions.
Known gaps
Live captions depend on the video provider and are automatic, not human-corrected. Some older course materials uploaded by instructors are scanned images without text. Audio descriptions of visual material in art classes are at the instructor’s discretion. We are working through each of these.
Requesting an accommodation
Write to info@odysseuslyceum.org with the class and what would help. A person will answer within two business days, and we will work with the instructor to provide it. There is no charge for an accommodation.
