Eligibility
Assistance is need-based and open to any family with an account. Apply from inside your parent account; the application asks about household size and income and lets you tell us anything that matters in your own words. We do not require tax documents to apply, and we may ask for them before awarding larger amounts.
Review
A person reads every application, usually within five business days. Decisions are written to the application and emailed to you. If we decline, we say why, and you may apply again when your circumstances change.
Awards and expiration
Awards are credited to your Lyceum balance as scholarship credit and are spent at checkout like any other credit. Awards expire twelve months after they are granted, and we remind you before that. Unused award balances are returned to the scholarship fund.
Conditions
Awards are for the children on the application. Scholarship credit cannot be transferred, refunded as cash, or used to buy gift cards or make contributions. We may withdraw an award for a material misstatement in the application.
